And to the many other donators who
have helped the IERR horses in need!
A VERY special thanks to Dr. Doug Quesnel for
all his efforts during the Gibbons herd project.
The Island Equine Rescue was created with equines in
mind. Our facility is designed to give distressed,
homeless, or retired horses time to simply be horses.

Our horses get the best of care, and most importantly,
time to heal, mentally and physically. Once the gleam
returns to the horses eyes, the shine in their coats,
the bounce in their step, they are letting us know they
are ready to find new homes!

Whether you are here to adopt or let us know of a horse
that would just love to come and spend a little time
with us, feel free to stop by the adoption page and
have a look at the lovely horses we have looking for
someone new to call their own!

Island Equine Rescue is a non-profit and non-political
organization. It is of our utmost concern to rescue and
recover young, usable horses that we can place in loving
homes. We also help senior horses find happy retirements.

We are currently looking for foster homes for our horses.
If you have extra space in your barn or on your farm for
one of these lovely horses, have the experience and the
time, feel free to email Nicole for more info.
